Take a Maine cooking class! Join Chef Michael and guest instructors in the Hartstone kitchen for a weekend. Classes cover a wide range of topics. These include regional and ethnic cuisines to seasonal and holiday offerings.

Chef for a Day Program

Join Chef Michael for a one-on-one Camden Maine cooking class experience in the Hartstone Inn kitchen. This program is available year-round. Click here for more details or watch our Chef for a Day Video!

Private Cooking Classes

Do you have a group that would like to have a private cooking class with Chef Michael? Choose from over 25 different courses created by Michael. Or, choose individual recipe items from his cookbooks. Classes require a minimum of 6 students and are available November through May. Cost for the 2 hour private class is $350 for up to 6 participants and $45 per person for additional enrollment, up to a maximum of 12 students.

Chef Michael’s Foodie Adventures

Join Chef Michael in Tuscany, France or Catalonia! Our Foodie Adventures are a fun way for us to marry our love of terrific food, foreign exploration and great company. We have so much fun traveling and enjoying life, we’ve decided to create several foodie adventures each year outside of the Inn. If you have the desire to learn something new, would like to explore several beautiful villages in Italy, France and Spain and like to cook (or just eat), then this may be the perfect fit for you. Scheduled Maine Cooking Classes

Our Maine cooking classes are informative, entertaining, and of course, filled with delicious food. Weekend packages are $357 – $575 and include two nights lodging and enrollment for one in the cooking class. Also included are breakfast each morning, afternoon cookies and tea, and a gourmet candlelit dinner for two.

Additional enrollment into our Maine cooking classes is $45 per person. Classes are held on Saturdays and/or Sundays from 1-3pm. See schedule of classes below for specific class dates and topics.
