Mary Jo Brink & Chef/Owner Michael Salmon, Honors Graduate from the CIA 1988, have over 30 years of experience in restaurants and 4 Diamond Luxury Resort Hotels. They left behind the corporate world as Food /Beverage Director and Executive Chef with Hyatt Resorts. Michael was named Caribbean Chef of the Year and is a recipient of an American Culinary Federation Achievement of Excellence award. In his spare time he has published two cookbooks and has created menus for multiple visits as invited guest chef at the James Beard house. Mary Jo and Michael’s love of food, travel and adventure have inspired them for 22 years at the Inn… the result is fresh, creative menus, attractive lodging design and decor.

Camden Maine Driving Directions from the South

  1. Follow Interstate 95 north to Exit 44, Interstate 295.
  2. Follow 295 to exit 28 (Brunswick).
  3. Follow Coastal Route 1 north through Waldoboro, turn left onto Route 90.
  4. Follow Route 90 until it ends at the junction of US Route 1 again.
  5. Turn left onto Route 1 north, down into the village of Camden till you reach the stop sign. The Hartstone Inn is the fourth building on your left past the stop sign.
