Must-Visit Sugar Houses

The best place to see the maple sugar making process up-close is at one of the area’s esteemed sugar houses. Take the day and immerse yourself in the journey from sap to syrup! These nearby Sugar Houses are highly recommended and provide a great way to see the surrounding countryside and learn more about maple sugar manufacturing, as well as sample some delectable maple goodies.
  • Sparky’s has got your sweet tooth covered with a wide range of different kinds of honey and maple syrups. Get a taste of the sticky stuff and indulge in high-quality and natural goods as well as beeswax candles! – 15 minutes away from the Inn.

  • Simmons & Daughters Sugar House has been family owned and operated since 2008 and produces delicious, all-natural maple syrup from their homestead in Morrill. They have a limited supply to sell in the spring so don’t wait! Head on down for a tour and pick up a bottle of their one-of-a-kind ooey-gooey goodness. – 30 minutes away from the Inn

Delicious Dishes

As tempting as it may be, it’s unfortunately not possible to live on only maple syrup, so we’ll take care of the rest so you can focus on finding the next great thing to top your pancakes with! Speaking of breakfast, ours is prepared with care every morning and features delectable dishes like our Prosciutto Shirred Eggs and Maine Lobster Benedict. With premiere evening dining on property and our Wine Spectator award-winning wine list, you’re never far away from some truly delicious cuisine.
